In 2005, Trinity Church completed an extensive building project that entailed the restoration of our existing Parish House as well as creation of meeting space in the basement of the church. This area, now called the undercroft, provides us with larger and more gracious meeting rooms, not only for our own church related events, classes, and gatherings, but also for non-Trinity events. In continuing our mission to help serve the community, we now offer meeting space to outside non-profit organizations. There are room use and set up fees that apply based on the nature and size of the event. We welcome you to peruse the information below to learn more about Trinity's rental space offerings. Sanctuary The Church Sanctuary is used for our church services and is generally not available to the public. The Church Undercroft
The undercroft, which is the floor below the church, includes the following areas: The Shop at Trinity; the Art & Architecture area, which often hosts book-signings; the Commons, where we conduct Sunday coffee hours, host special dinners, and other event gatherings; and the Forum, a large area ideal for classes and lectures. The 3 spaces together can be opened up to one another to form one or two large, open areas. They can also be used individually as each area is divided with sound-masking glass art walls. The Forum and Commons space can each support approximately 200 people, or 400 total seated auditorium style.
The Parish House The Parish House, which is located adjacent to the main church building, has four floors of various sized meeting spaces. The lower level, second, and third floors each have meeting rooms that are ideal for smaller gatherings and can hold between 10 and 40 people each, depending on the event set up. The first floor contains two medium sized event spaces that are of a higher quality of finish and detail: the Angel Room, which can hold 20 people, and the Ferris Library, which can hold 60 (again, exact numbers depend on event set-up requirements). The first floor also offers one smaller meeting space, the Phillips Brooks office, for intimate gatherings of 6 to 8 people.
