Trinity Church in the City of Boston stands as a vibrant parish of nearly 3,000 households. Founded in 1733, it is part of the Diocese of Massachusetts in the Episcopal Church, and a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

We come from many walks of life, many different backgrounds, from around the Boston area and beyond. What brings us together is our faith in God and Jesus Christ, our love of worshipping together, a desire to deepen our relationship with God and each other, and a commitment to live out our faith in the world.

Our Statement of Affirmation
In accordance with our baptismal covenant, we affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We strive to include all persons without regard to sexual orientation, race, nationality, gender, family configuration, ethnic background, economic circumstances, difference in ability, culture or age. Our love and acceptance of each other embody our commitment to unity with God and each other in Christ.

Worship is at the center of our life. Four services, open to all, are offered each Sunday, and weekday services are offered three times a week from September through June.

In addition to worship, the parish is actively involved in service to the community, pastoral care, programs for children and teenagers, Christian education for all ages, and music. All programs are open to all.

Our church building on Copley Square, which went through a major renovation and restoration project through 2005, has been widely celebrated as a masterpiece of American architecture and stands as a cherished landmark at the heart of Boston. Inside are some of the nation's greatest works of mural and stained-glass art. We invite you to come see for yourself and be inspired by this building that Pulitzer Prize winning author David McCullough called "the work of a civilization."

We invite you to Experience Trinity.
