Kathy Acerbo-Bachmann
Welcome from Kathy Acerbo-Bachmann, Director of Art & Architecture Programs
Ask any architect, architectural historian, or critic and they'll tell you that Trinity Church is a masterpiece of American architecture. Dedicated in 1877, Trinity presented a bold, fresh new face and feeling for ecclesiastical architecture in America. The Church continues to be heralded today as a celebrated example of "Richardsonian Romanesque" design, named after its architect, H. H. Richardson. The Department of Art & Architecture Programs at Trinity illuminates the history and detail of the building and enhances the experiences of the more than 100,000 visitors at Trinity each year. We hope you'll visit us!

Are you curious about why Trinity has appeared on the architectural community's "top ten" lists of significant buildings for over 100 years? Perhaps you'd like to know more about Trinity's stained glass? Or have you always wondered about the story behind that big, interesting building in Copley Square? Art & Architecture Programs at Trinity offers parishioners and visitors the chance to explore art and history in-depth through tours, lectures, symposia, and other events throughout the year. Trained tour guides bring the story of Trinity alive and ensure a warm welcome for guests. Also, don't forget to visit The Shop at Trinity, named one of the "Best of the New" by Boston Globe Magazine in 2006.
