Although it's difficult to truly appreciate the art and architecture of Trinity unless you've seen it in person, we hope these virtual slideshows will give you a peek at the windows, murals, and other architectural details that make Trinity so renowned.

Architecture Slideshow
See the architectural details of the church building, which has repeatedly been named one of the finest architectural achievements in the country.

Murals Slideshow
The painted decoration of Trinity was completed in only five months, under difficult conditions. John La Farge and his team of artists were forced to wear gloves, coats, and hats in the unheated, unfinished church in bitter winter weather, and often competed with masons and other workers for use of the scaffolding. Despite the conditions, the result was a resounding professional and personal success, and established La Farge's reputation as an American master.

Stained Glass Slideshow
Trinity is home to a number of triumphs in stained glass, including John La Farge's renowned Christ in Majesty, ranked among the finest works in stained glass in America.
