The Rodman Ride for Kids is an annual benefit bike ride to support Boston-area programs that work to empower children and their families. Team Trinity is a group that participates in the Ride each year. Currently, the Team rides to support TEEP, Trinity’s urban youth program. Team Trinity strives to build community through bike riding, with an ultimate goal of supporting the young people of TEEP. The team welcomes riders of all levels and faiths, and it upholds the efforts and goals of each individual member. Over the past 15 years, more than 150 cyclists have joined Team Trinity to raise more than $150,000 to promote healthy, positive lives for children and families throughout Massachusetts. In the ride each fall, participants choose to ride 25, 50, or 100 miles. Training rides throughout the summer ensure that Team Trinity riders are ready to go the distance! Non-riders are also welcome to volunteer to support the team. The 2009 ride was held on Saturday, September 26. For more information about the 2010 ride, contact Pam Pratt. "If you wanted a snapshot of what the Kingdom of God looks like, it would be this team." |
