The Rev. Barbara Brown Taylor is coming to Trinity as a Price Lecturer during Lent on Sunday, March 7. She is considered one of the most excellent preachers and writers in the church today. Thus, it seems appropriate to read her most recent, highly-regarded book, An Altar in the World, and even better to discuss how to live out some of her ideas.

Taylor left parish ministry, detailed in her previous book, Leaving Church, to learn how she could encounter God in daily living, beyond the walls of any church. If you have read Leaving Church, come to discuss that book since the two works are related. If you miss the first meeting, come along to the next and you can pick up on the discussion.
