Have you wondered what you and others members of Trinity can do to help redeem the terrible devastation that has overtaken Haiti in the wake of the earthquake there?

This year our Parish’s Lenten fund-raising effort will focus on a project called “Helping Hands for Haiti,” sponsored by Children’s Ministries.  It will be launched Sunday, February 28, and continue through the March 28, the 5^th Sunday in Lent. 

Every person who wants to participate will be given a muslin glove into which to put daily donations, and will also be given a button to wear to raise awareness of the tremendous need in Haiti.  All funds raised will be channeled to Haiti through Episcopal Relief and Development.  For more information on ERD’s relief efforts in Haiti, go to their website at www.er-d.org.

Come to the Commons this Sunday, and get your glove and button, and begin extending a helping hand to Haiti.
