Coffee, Cards And Cookies: Support The 211th In Iraq
Social Justice
Date: 08:00 AM
Time: 08:00 AM
Duration: All Day

Trinity’s Veteran’s Ministry and the residents of Yearwood House have united their spirits and energies, together with the second- and third-grade Sunday School classes, on behalf of the 211th Military Police Unit based out of Lexington and recently deployed to Iraq. Yearwood House residents have made over 100 cards for the Trinity community to personalize and add to the Girl Scout Cookie care packages we will be sending the 211th in honor of Veteran’s Day. Any donations will be gratefully used to pay postage for the care packages.

As an added incentive, the Yearwood House cooking/baking group will provide home-made pumpkin cookies to all those who participate!

We are inviting all Trinity parishioners to join us at coffee hours on November 8—sign a card, enjoy a cookie with your coffee, and add your support to the women and men who are serving overseas. For more information or to help staff the table on November 8, please contact Gresh Lattimore.
