All are welcome to a free concert performed by one of Yale University’s premier a cappella groups, Shades. Led by Titlayo Ngwenya, the co-educational group draws from the diverse backgrounds of its members and the oral traditions of blacks in America to authentically portray the true depth and complexity of the black experience. Their repertoire includes R&B, pop and hip-hop, gospel, soul, jazz, funk, “and everything in between!”
