A Spiritual Discipline: Food Collection

For three years the clergy have asked the parish to purchase non-perishable food when shopping and bring it to church on Sunday as a spiritual discipline.

Join Youth and Children’s Ministries as we recommit ourselves to the discipline of serving others by collecting non-perishable food items for St. Mary’s Food Pantry in Dorchester. We hope that you will join us in “taking on” this spiritual discipline that will help eliminate the alarming growth of hunger for many of our neighbors. St. Mary’s asks that you bring the following items to Trinity:
peanut butter, beef stew, canned fruit, vegetables, soup, pasta, and rice.

Baby food in glass jars is no longer being accepted!
You can place your food items in the regular collection bin in the Clarendon Street entrance or if you are in Children’s Ministry bring them to Tapestry Hall and if you are in Youth Ministry bring them to a collection box outside of room Parish-LLA.
