Over 500,000 Massachusetts residents have no health insurance, including thousands of members of Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO) congregations and organizations. For this reason, GBIO voted to join the Affordable Care Today! (ACT!) Coalition to fight for health care access and affordability statewide.

Teams of Trinity parishioners have worked with other GBIO members to promote legislation in the Massachusetts State House that would ensure that all citizens of this state would be covered by health insurance. Collecting signatures on petitions, attending rallies, and canvassing legislators have all been part of a day's work in getting this historic legislation passed. Click here to see GBIO's platform. To support the effort to ensure affordable health care in Massachusetts, contact Trinity's GBIO leader, Linda Burgess.
