Trinity Builders: Habitat for Humanity

Swing a hammer, roll a paint roller, or push a broom to help build affordable housing in Boston with Habitat for Humanity! The Trinity Builders team goes to local Habitat sites on regularly scheduled weekend days to do whatever Habitat needs done to help provide new, affordable housing to people who wouldn't otherwise be able to buy their own home.

Our most recent project has been working on the townhouses at Blue Hill Place in Roxbury. Tasks have included installing clapboard siding, putting trim around windows, caulking nail holes and siding, and installing blocking on the interior stairwells.

Everyone is welcome - no experience is needed! Habitat provides the tools and leadership, and we are there to serve, alongside the homesteaders who will be living there. It's always a day of good hard work and spiritual awakening - to discover new gifts, to be in community, to be in service, and to discover our commonalities with families who we might not ordinarily get to know.
