Disciples of Christ in Community (DOCC)

Disciples of Christ in Community (DOCC) is a course for people at every stage of their faith journey in their life at Trinity, including all seeking a deeper understanding of their faith and those preparing for Confirmation. It can also serve as a wonderful avenue for newcomers to enter into our life at Trinity.

DOCC is founded on the belief that faith is our relationship with God, and therefore must be lived, not just learned. Seeking to communicate faith both intellectually and experientially, DOCC combines teaching the content of faith with the caring fellowship of small groups.

In the Fall of 2007, DOCC classes will be held on Thursday nights from 6:00-8:30 pm, with two required Saturday retreats as well. Classes will begin on September 13 and end on December 6. The program is led by Bill Rich, Senior Associate Rector for Adult Christian Formation, with guest lectures from other members of the clergy at Trinity. There is a $75 materials fee for the course.
