Education for Ministry (EFM)

Education for Ministry (EFM) is a four-year lay education program that serves as an excellent "next step" in Christian education for those who have already taken DOCC. It provides adults with the opportunity to further their scriptural and theological education in small groups facilitated by trained mentors. EFM also teaches a magnificent model of theological reflection that can help you discern where and how God is at work in everyday life situations.

Commitment to EFM is for one year at a time. Tuition is $340 and covers the cost of all materials. Currently, Trinity sponsors two EFM groups. One group meets on Wednesday nights, and the other on Thursday during the daytime. There may be a third group forming for the Fall of 2007. For more information, contact Bill Rich, 617-536-0944.
