Boston Interfaith Dialogue
The Boston Interfaith Dialogue (BID) is an interfaith fellowship ministry that engages congregations from the three Abrahamic faith traditions: Judaism (Boston Jewish Spirit), Islam (The Boston Dialogue Foundation), and Christianity (Trinity Church). Our dialogue uses honest discussion and informal conversation to encourage understanding and friendship.
BID grew out of several Trinity-sponsored events following September 11, 2001. Our mission is to use honest discussion and informal conversation to encourage understanding and friendship between members of our different faiths. Our intent is to develop a deeper knowledge of our three religions, including their secular and cultural aspects.
We meet monthly and rotate the meeting sites among the three groups. We depend on a lasting commitment among group participants in order to maintain our cherished atmosphere of trust. New members are welcome to join at an informational meeting each fall. Come join us!
