Programs & Events
Loaves and Fishes
"Loaves and Fishes" is Trinity Church's
annual canned food drive. The entire parish is invited to fill grocery bags with
needed food and bring them on Loaves and Fishes Sunday, April 13, 2008. With the help of volunteers, the bags are loaded into trucks and delivered
to food programs. The food we collect and distribute helps the neediest in Boston-people
who face hunger every day. For more information, contact Katie Vogele, 617-536-0944.
Needlepoint Guild
Needlepoint kneelers
commemorate many events, big and small, in our parish community: weddings, baptisms,
memorials, and ministry groups such as the Trinity Builders Habitat for Humanity
Team. If you look closely, you may even find the kneeler for the cat named Mr.
Brooks, who for years worked hard to keep our cellar (now Undercroft) varmint-free.
If you'd like to commission a kneeler in honor of a special occasion or in memory
of someone dear to you, please download a request form. If you'd like to participate in stitching kneelers, download instructions here. If you have any questions, please contact Katie Vogele,
617-536-0944.
Robert Treat Paine Society
Robert Treat Paine was
a philanthropist and civic leader who contributed a great deal to Trinity's legacy.
As chairman of Trinity's building committee, Paine led the effort to raise money
for the new church's construction and was largely responsible for securing the
building's current site. His dedication to civic projects helped Boston become
a more enlightened, charitable place. This group named after him gathers on the
second Saturday morning of each month to dust, buff, sweep, and provide other
vital upkeep services for the Church. All are welcome! Contact Marc Aubertin, 617-536-0944.
