Trinity Boston Preservation Trust

Established in 2003, the Trinity Boston Preservation Trust is a program of the Trinity Boston Foundation that calls on all who love Trinity Church's art and architecture to help secure this American masterpiece. All donations to the Preservation Trust are used solely to preserve and restore the building and its art and to maintain Trinity's status as a National Historic Landmark. In December 2004, Trinity successfully completed a $53 million building renewal campaign. The work funded by this ambitious campaign included the creation of the undercroft space where our parish gathers for forums, coffee hour, and other events, as well as significant restoration and preservation work, including mural restoration, the cleaning of several stained glass windows, and important renovations to the Parish House. While the urgent need for capital funds has subsided, Trinity's building committee has identified further preservation work that must be pursued in the next few years. The Trinity Boston Preservation Trust offers an ongoing opportunity to continue raising funds for our landmark building - and a base of support that will allow us to take on the next piece of work. Additionally, the Preservation Trust gives those outside our parish an opportunity to connect with Trinity's internationally recognized art and architecture. We urge lovers of art and architecture to become a part of the community of people committed to preserving this great building for generations to come. The Preservation Trust hosts periodic educational and fundraising events to raise awareness and funds for Trinity Church's ongoing care and preservation.
