The food drive has been going very well! This is the last weekend before Palm Sunday, so please remember to bring as much food as possible for next weekend! Thank you to everyone who has already donated. Please remember to bring food to the table at the Commons. Canned goods or food in glass containers are suggested. Our goal is to fill as many ziggurats in the Commons as possible by Palm Sunday; for more information about our goal or the food bank, please stop by and talk to us at our table in the commons. Thank you for your support in helping The Greater Boston Food Bank.

The reponse to the Rev. Rodney Hudgen's Forum presentations on February 7 & 14 has been tremendous. So much so that Rodney is offering two options for those who want to go deeper in formation around around our liturgy and music. Many of you have already signed up for one or both of these and will be contacted via email by the liturgy office next week to determine your availability. If you have not yet added your name to the list, it is not too late.

Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Letter from a Birmingham Jail |
|
Wednesday, 13 January 2010 14:11 |
|
16 April 1963
My Dear Fellow Clergymen:
While confined here in the Birmingham city jail, I came across your recent statement calling my present activities "unwise and untimely." Seldom do I pause to answer criticism of my work and ideas. If I sought to answer all the criticisms that cross my desk, my secretaries would have little time for anything other than such correspondence in the course of the day, and I would have no time for constructive work. But since I feel that you are men of genuine good will and that your criticisms are sincerely set forth, I want to try to answer your statement in what I hope will be patient and reasonable terms.

No prior musical training necessary. Join this exciting introduction to the lively drumming and vocal music of the Ewe people of Ghana, West Africa. Using authentic hand carved drums from Ghana, participants learn to perform this indigenous music in an ensemble setting from a leader who has traveled and studied extensively in the region. Trinity’s Prayer Card Ministry: Sending a Postcard Your Way Soon! |
|
Wednesday, 16 December 2009 17:43 |
|
Trinity’s pastoral care ministry has recently returned to the tradition of praying for each in- dividual in our parish by name once a year, and then sending out a postcard informing the person that they have been prayed for on our private prayer list that week. It is an opportunity to give thanks for every member in our life by offering a prayer of thanksgiving in their name. The postcards have a picture of the St. Francis statue from our garden, and Trinity parishioners write a short personal note on each card. It is with prayerful hearts that we give thanks for our whole community!
