We are delighted to announce that Cathy Portlock, presently the Children's Minister at Grace Episcopal Church in New Bedford, MA, has answered our call to become Trinity's Director of Children's Ministries. Cathy will begin her work at Trinity in the fourth week of August.

In addition to her nine years of ministry at Grace, where she oversaw the church school, led children's worship, and facilitated children's and family events, Cathy has over twenty years of teaching experience as a music/theatre teacher, a choral conductor, and as an elementary classroom teacher. Cathy is a candidate in the MACE (Master of Arts in Christian Education) program at Virginia Theological Seminary. She holds a BME from Shenandoah Conservatory, and has pursued studies in elementary education at UMass-Dartmouth, as well as theological studies at Andover Newton Theological School. Cathy is also an EfM graduate, and has a wide range of interests that include music, theatre, history, cooking, knitting, reading, and animals.
