Lectors

Lectors are parishioners who read the lessons and lead the prayers at all of our public services. After a training program, they are included in a rotation of assignments for reading at the 9:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 6:00 p.m. Sunday services as well as for services on high and holy days. The public reading of scripture is a great way to bear witness to the faith and to feel part of the life and worship of our community. For more information on becoming a lector, contact Eileen McCarthy, 617-536-0944.
