Thank you for an *amazing* Trinity Sunday of Giving!

The Rev. Morgan Allen
June 1, 2021

Dear Trinity Church and friends,

Grace and Peace and THANK YOU for your remarkable generosity during our Trinity Sunday of Giving!  Your gifts made a difference, lifting Sunday’s spirits and filling our sails for this exciting summer, September, and beyond.

The daylong event – the first of its kind for us – aimed to offset the costs of our safe return to Copley Square and our continued delivery of high-quality, live-streamed and pre-recorded worship and programs.  Affirming the sufficiency of our annual Stewardship campaign endeavored every fall, our Trinity Sunday of Giving sought to reach those who have not yet made a pledge and those who customarily give when on-campus for our ministries, in addition to those who have already made their 2021 commitment.  We purposefully made room for different means of making a gift, focusing the Sunday of Giving’s design on mobile access.

Further, focusing on the number of gifts received, rather than the dollars raised, created equity in the appeal, for everyone’s gift counted the same – as one – toward the several goals we set during the day … and we hit every goal we set!  Watching the gift counter click upward was inspiring, and, in total, we received more than 300 gifts – an AMAZING accomplishment, Trinity Church!  We learned so much from this experience, and we look forward to building on the program in future years.

Because some gifts were mailed, we will not have a dollar total until next week – even so, we look forward to sharing that good news and other details, as soon as we have them.  Between now and then, please know of our deep gratitude, and please see linked here the letter shared with the parish about our plans for in-person worship beginning June 13.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

The Rev. Morgan S. Allen
