Anti-Racism Team Conversation: The Church Enslaved
More than at any time in living memory, pandemic, economic inequity and violence are revealing racial injustice in our country and common life. Trinity’s Anti-Racism Team (A.R.T.) invites you to join them in an open discussion of the book The Church Enslaved by Michael Battle (our Sun., Mar. 8 Bonnyman Symposium presenter) and Tony Campolo.
How does today’s Church perpetuate contradictions kindred to those present at America’s founding (freedom for some and slavery for others)?
We’ll talk about our own life as church and create our conversation from your experience and insights. Reading the text encouraged but not required.
