Attend to the Anthem
Date/Time: Every Sunday at 9:30 am
On most Sundays at 9:30 am, (prior to 9:45 Worship from Home), the music staff will host a Zoom session to introduce a new hymn or canticle that will then be featured in the service.
Marissa Hall will explore the work of British composer Cecilia McDowall, who wrote the rollicking choir anthem: O sing unto the Lord. Here's how Gramophone magazine recently described McDowall's work: "She constantly tweaks the ear with her range of spicy rhythms and colors then suddenly produces a highly atmospheric and grippingly expressive interlude which is just as compelling."
