On most Sundays at 9:30 am, (prior to 9:45 Worship from Home), the music staff will host a Zoom session to introduce a new hymn or canticle that will then be featured in the service.
Canadian/American Nathaniel Dett (1882-1943) was a Black composer, pianist, organist, choral director and music professor, influential for his use of African-American folk songs and spirituals as a foundation for his piano and choral composition.
