Time:
3:30 pm to 3:50 pm
Location:
Off-site Location

As a follow up to last year's "Bach in the Subways" performance, the Trinity Choir will return to the spectacular Johnson Atrium of the Boston Public Library to present the music of Johann Sebastian Bach on Saturday, March 16 at 3:30 pm. "Bach in the Subways" is an international celebration of the great composer's March birthday. The Trinity Choir's contribution to this worldwide party will be Bach's dazzling motet: Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden, along with his "Come, sweet death," in a particularly haunting setting, made more so by each individual singer rendering his/her part at different times, creating an ethereal, other-worldly effect. The motet will be accompanied by cello, bass and keyboard. The concert will last less than 20 minutes, is FREE, and open to everyone. All musicians donate their services for Bach in the Subways events. Join us to cheer on your Trinity Choir!
