Free Concert: Every Time I Feel The Spirit
Trinity is thrilled to welcome Dr. Brandon A. Boyd, guest conductor and clinician, to lead the Trinity Choir in making music during the weekend of October 16-17! Dr. Boyd serves as Assistant Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of Missouri, and has extensive experience in choral conducting, composing/arranging, collaborative piano, and research. Dr. Boyd will work with the choirs at an all-day off-site retreat on Sat., Oct. 16, and then will direct the choirs leading worship at the 9 am and 11 am services on Sun., Oct. 17 followed by a free afternoon outdoor concert at 2 pm, featuring soloist Jermaine Manor, Baritone.
This concert, “Every Time I Feel the Spirit,” will include a variety of works celebrating African-American sacred choral music and is free and open to the public. The music made this weekend will include congregational/audience participation, so come join the celebration!
