Trinity's Oudinot Windows—Restoration, Creation and French Heritage
Hear the stories behind the Oudinot windows (upper south wall) from Dr. Virginia Raguin, Professor of Art History and expert on religious art and stained glass of the Middle Ages and 19th Century, from the College of the Holy Cross. The prestigious stained glass studio of Eugène Oudinot made these windows for Trinity Church Boston, as well as Holy Trinity of Paris, in the Renaissance Revival styles of windows he restored in the Royal Chapel in the Château of Vincennes. All are welcome.
