What could be better as Christmas approaches than a mid-week mug of something warm and a seasonal story read aloud? Set aside an hour every Wednesday afternoon in Advent for fifteen minutes of fellowship and then to listen to a fellow parishioner offer a favorite holiday tale.

On December 2, Listo Fisher will offer "A Christmas Memory" by Truman Capote.

On December 9, Kirsten Cairns will offer "The Ghost Ships" by Angela Carter as well as a few other short Christmas poems and readings.

On December 16, Pam Waterman and Michelle Coleman will offer "Christmas is a Sad Season for the Poor" by John Cheever.

On December 23, Edward Garmey will offer "A Child's Christmas in Wales" by Dylan Thomas.
