What could be better as Christmas approaches than a mid-week mug of something warm and a seasonal story read aloud? Set aside an hour every Wednesday afternoon in Advent for fifteen minutes of fellowship and then to listen to a favorite holiday tale.

 

December 1:  "The Prisoners" by Bienvenido Santos, read by Patrick Ward

December 8:  "The Burden of the Feast" by Bobbie Ann Mason, read by Sue Dickinson

December 15: "The Tailor of Gloucester" by Beatrix Potter, read by Kirsten Cairns

December 22:  "Christmas" by Vladimir Nabokov, read by Edward Garmey
