Music

At Trinity Church Boston, music is integral to how we express our faithfulness to God, one another, and the world.

We express our gratitude, awe, and worship through the singing of sacred music, including hymns, psalms, canticles, anthems, and more. “When in our worship God is glorified,” whether through an anthem sung by the choir, a hymn with the whole congregation, or an organ postlude, then lives are transformed, wounds are healed, zeal is inspired, and Christ is present.

A variety of choirs share responsibility in leading the singing for all Sunday services (except 8 am) and Wednesday Evensong during the school year. The Trinity Choirs offer public concerts of sacred musical masterpieces throughout the year and have released recordings. And from September to June, Trinity plays host to organists from around the world to perform in our Fridays at Trinity recital series.  Whether you are in search of revelation or reflection, you will find it in Trinity’s glorious building, evoked by the majesty and mystery of music.
