On most Sundays at 9:30 am, (prior to 9:45 Worship from Home), the music staff will host a Zoom session to introduce a new hymn or canticle that will then be featured in the service.

Catherine Winkworth (1827-1878) was Christendom's greatest translator of German chorales into English. In today's worship we will sing Hymns 53 and 67, both of which she translated. Today's choir's anthem is "A tender shoot" by Otto Goldschmidt, with whom Winkworth collaborated. Marissa will enlighten us on Winkworth's fascinating life as musician, scholar and advocate of J.S. Bach.
