Video: The Trinity Choir and Choristers Sing "Sign me up"

April 26, 2023

On Sun., Apr. 23, the Trinity Choir and Choristers sang "Sign me up" by Brandon A. Boyd as the Offertory Anthem. Watch the video here:

Mr. Boyd is no stranger to Trinity Church, having led the choirs and congregation one rousing weekend in 2021 at a Saturday retreat, Sunday services, then an afternoon concert on Copley Square. An internationally acclaimed composer and University of Missouri conductor, he has worked with choirs from Santa Fe to London, everywhere spreading through music the gospel of beloved community.  His arrangement of “Sign Me Up,” a gospel classic by Jerome Metcalfe and Kevin Yancy, captures a driving beat and tireless faith—“I wanna be ready.”

The Trinity Choristers is Trinity Church Boston's youth choir, open to all children ages 8-18. Do you know a child aged 7-10 who might be interested in singing? Learn more about what it’s like to be a Trinity Chorister on Thurs., May 11, at 5 pm. Children will have the opportunity to join for fun musical activities while parents learn more about the life in the choir. No previous musical experience is necessary, and all children are invited to this free event.
