Weeds and Seeds Home for Faith Group
Sun., May 6, 2 pm, on Zoom
The "Weeds and Seeds" Home for Faith group has been meeting regularly for the past several years to share our knowledge and experiences in taking care of our blessed, beautiful world. We have discussed gardens and plants in the Bible, the "floral calendar" for Trinity's services, favorite public gardens we have visited, the gardens of Beatrix Potter, cloche gardening, the "no-mow-May" concept for protecting springtime pollinators, the "language of flowers" in Victorian England, gardening with cremains, and relevant books.
We meet for an hour (by Zoom) on Sunday afternoons approximately every six weeks to share our experiences about gardening and the natural world, and how they intersect with the Lord’s calling. All who might be interested in joining our group are welcome and encouraged to participate; if interested, please contact Alison Poor by email at apoor@trinitychurchboston.org;
We hope to see you at our next gathering!

Be a Chorister For a Day!
Thurs. May 11, 5 pm, rsvp to clynch@trinitychurchboston.org for location
Do you know a child aged 7-10 who might be interested in singing? Come and learn more about what it's like to be a Trinity Chorister on Thurs., May 11 at 5 pm. Children will have the opportunity to join for fun musical activities while parents learn more about the life in the choir. No previous musical experience is necessary, and all children are invited to this free event.
The Chorister program at Trinity Church offers an extraordinary opportunity to learn music, singing, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, commitment, have fun, and to see the world! Choristers learn about the faith and engage in the life of the church through their active leadership of worship. Parents often say that the Chorister program is a deeply transformative experience for their children.
To sign up for this event or to learn more about the Chorister program please email Colin Lynch, Director of Music at clynch@trinitychurchboston.org.

Neponset River Walking Tour - Prayerful and Education Visit

Sat. May 20, 10 am - 12 pm, Milton Landing Sun Shelter by the Water, 25 Wharf Street, Milton, MA

Join the Creation Care Ministry at Trinity Church Boston and the Neponset River Watershed Association for a prayerful and education walk along the Neponset River. This slow-paced walk (2.2 miles total) along a portion of the Neponset River Greenway in Milton, Dorchester and Mattapan will introduce participants to this beautiful natural resource in our urban landscape. Described by the Boston Globe as a hidden jewel that has become a tarnished gem, the Neponset River is now the focus of a major clean-up effort by the US Environmental Protection Agency. Designated a Superfund Site in 2022, federal resources are now being used to clean and restore the river. Participants will learn how we can support efforts to restore the river and ensure residents of abutting Boston neighborhoods and all Massachusetts people can enjoy its natural beauty again.

Street parking available, public transit access via the Milton Stop on the Red Line's Mattapan High Speed Trolley (departing from Ashmont Station)
