We are excited to have Joscelyn Chapman, freshly relocated to Arizona, making a guest appearance as chef extraordinaire to help us prepare a simple supper prior to our Maundy Thursday worship service. We will make a delicious soup and salad together that can be adjusted for any dietary needs.
In addition, Morgan will share with us the art of setting a beautiful table from the etiquette authority, Emily Post.

2 rashers bacon (omit for vegetarian)
1 large leek
3c stock, vegetable or chicken
5 cloves garlic
2x 12oz cans cannelini beans (white kidney beans)
2 bay leaves
Parmesan rind (optional)
1T savory, or thyme if unavailable
Parsley, shredded parm, and cracked pepper to garnish
flat leaf parsley
10 basil leaves
2 cloves garlic
red wine vinegar
extra virgin olive oil
spring mix or arugula
burrata or large ball fresh mozzarella
large sauce pan
bowl for cleaning leeks
blender for smooth soup, or leave whole
